Our Experience in Oil & Gas.
Insulect has participated in a number of major LNG projects in Australia, supplying finished parts and structural insulation kits for cryogenic pipe supports. As the exclusive supplier of Röchling Engineering Plastics in the region, we locally fabricated and assembled all components. The materials supplied for these projects include Röchling's Durolight and Lignostone®, which were both specifically designed for LNG applications.
Our own experience in the Oil and Gas sector is reinforced by our partnership with Röchling Engineering Plastics of Germany, who has extensive LNG experience in numerous countries across the globe. Their commitment to Oil and Gas market includes the development of several innovative products specifically for cryogenic LNG applications.

Our experience and expertise extends across the following application areas:
CRYOGENIC PIPE SUPPORT INSULATION
Using Röchling Lignostone and Durolight composites.
Various parts including cold shoes, cold blocks, anchor supports, cones, base supports, trunnion supports, cable cleats, washers.
PIPE INSULATION PROTECTION
Fibreglass reinforced, halogen free pipe insulation cladding.
Using Durolight PIP - a replacement for traditional steel cladding on insulated pipelines.
The flexibility and ease of use of PIP mean significant reductions in labour costs and time required for on-site installation. Once cured hard, PIP forms a rugged barrier that will outperform steel, ensuring the longevity of the pipe insulation.
