Qualitrol LPRD 208 Large Pressure Relief Device
Qualitrol LPRD 208 Large Pressure Relief Device
The Qualitrol LPRD 208 is the global standard for Transformer Pressure Relief Devices.
The LPRD is used for the relief of excessive pressure buildup in large volumes of gas or fluid in transformers. Its patented dual gasket system provides quick response time and automatically reseals after pressure has subsided. Options include local operation indication, contacts (switches) for operation alarming, and directional shield for hot oil and gas exhaust control.
The global standard in pressure relief devices
The 208 LPRD by Qualitrol is the world’s leading pressure relief device - made by the pioneers of “automatically resealing” pressure relief devices. The LPRD has been refined for maximum reliability over more than 50 years in service and 400,000 units of field experience. No wonder it is the most frequently customer specified pressure relief device by name.
100% tested for quality and safety when it is most needed
All Qualitrol LPRDs are 100% pressure tested for proper operation pressure, with test results serialised for traceability. The LPRD delivers confidence for all over-pressure protection applications: on oil filled transformers, load tap changers, and other related electrical apparatus.
With robust design and built from rugged materials the Qualitrol LPRD provides reliable protection and long life, even in hard-wearing applications.
